Hello, I am using doc(Interviews ver 3.0, Sun 4.1.1, Sparc) to import EPSF files (output from pgmtops). These files are the 256 gray level images (8 bits per pixel). I am succesful in display gray scale postscipt files in final mode, and insert text, moving it around and print it to a new postscipt files. Printing using postscript laser printer is OK as well. However, when I try to use doc on one-bit plane Sparc SLC, I got the binarised image instead of the expected gray scale image. When I print into a postscript file, I also got the binarised image. Is there anyone know how to use doc to import and display EPSF files on one-bitplane Sparc in dithering mode ? (I used ghostscript ver2.2 to display 256 graylevel images and got something like, say 8 levels). In addition to this, how to print into the postscipt file which still keeps the original image with original 256 gray levels ? Thanks very much for your help.
