Does anyone know the status of floppy drive controlled tape drives for Coherent. I'm looking for drivers that will work with anyone's 40, 60 or 120 MB DC2000 floppy-controller based tape drives to do backups. I've got 80 MB for Coherent and 47 floppies + four hours does NOT encourage me to to backups!!! I'd also like to use these tapes as archival storage for lots of information (50 + MB of gifs, text info from the net) mounted as a read only file-system. Any pointers? If one is not available, any pointers for a manufacturer of one who would be willing to divulge their secrets on how to drive one so I can write a driver?
