I was wondering if anyone out there could help me with removing the "Marc Williams" boot message informing the user about what partition is being booted. I am no longer in posession of the PC - I removed everything from the hard disk and traded in. The fellow who took the trade installed a DOS system but couldn't get rid of the message. I am at work and consequently don't have my Coherent book. I hope to be able to tell him over the phone how to delete the message so that he can deliver to his customer. I remember someone once describing how to do this with the various DOS applications like Norton/Mace/et. al. Thanks in advance for any help! I removed Coherent from a pc a few weeks back, but never could rid the disk of the Mark Williams bootstrap. It's not a prob now, but for future reference, it would be nice to know how to remove it.
