Oooof!! Hey everybody, I didn't mean Coherent was at fault 'cause the TCP/IP (KA9Q code) wouldn't compile. Over half of the problem is my own 'hurry up and get it working' attitude. What it is: The KA9Q TCP/IP code is real TCP/IP for PC's and other computers (amiga, mac, unix etc). It uses SLIP (serial line ip), ethernet (3COM 501 boards), or packet radio terminal node controllers. The source is mostly in C, there is some assembly mostly in the drivers for specific boards. Yes it maybe quite possible to put Coherent systems on a standard ethernet with your Sun, Vax, HP, or whatever using something like PPP maybe even get NFS running! I am working on more recently. ------------ Other stuff I was offered Coherent 3.2 upgrade. They told me 3.2 was shipping, but the upgrade would be a week or 2. The 3.2 upgrade also contains additional SCSI drivers (Future Domain, and something else, I got future domain, so that is all I care about). There were bug fixes, but that is all I remember. All the other groups ship code around (source) so I would like to get stuff from folks here (unless it is 800MB). FTP sites are ok for the stuff I never kept. ------------ Keep in touch Tom Brusehaver WD0EIB Tommy B (they all work).
