I have access to a photodigitizing system at work using a TARGA board and would like to be able to digitize some of my own stuff and convert it to GIF format for displaying at home. Does anyone know of any software to convert TARGA to GIF (or to something else that could then be converted to GIF)? Public domain FTPable would be best. Thanks. You want to ask questions about image handling software in alt.graphics.pixutils; that's the group's meat and potatoes. If your site doesn't subscribe, you probably want to get a feed started; the folks there are the prime resource for your questions about his kind of a project, since compression is a fairly minor part of making a GIF file.
