[comp.compression] LHarc, LHA212, Source

aaron@backyard.bae.bellcore.com (Aaron Akman) (06/11/91)

Is there LHA212 compatible source floating around that compiles under
Borland C and has no assembly language? I downloaded LHASRC.EXE from
CompuServe, but it is written for a different compiler and has ASM files
for alot of the work.

I also downloaded something called AR002.EXE. It was written by
Haruhiko Okumura. I tried compressing some files with it, and then
expanding them with LHA.EXE and that seemed to work. AR002.EXE is
all C and ready for Borland C compiler...but is it the newest thing close
to LHA212?

Is there a Windows 3.0 compatible variant of LHA?

How about a Mac System 6.x or System 7 compatible variant of LHA?
