Has anyone out there ever used a pendulum site for their bow? I've been considering switching over to one for the upcoming season for a couple a reasons. In Cabelas catalog it states that this site automatically adjusts for the angle, distance of target, and height of treestand. It says "Just aim and shoot". It is a lighted pin site. If this site does indeed do what the ad says, then it would increse my chances for success greatly this year. Being this year is my first bow hunt, this site would allow me better concentration on other aspects of the hunt. Conceivably, instead of spending weeks in my backyard up in my treestand, getting used to adjusting my shots for the hieght and angle factors, I'll be able to spend more time in the field picking that oh-so critical spot to place my stand. I believe if I use a lighted pin site I would be disqualified from any Pope+Young records. Frankly, the hell with P+Y! It IS my first season. I know using a laser site is illegal in NJ, but does anyone know if it is illegal to use a lighted pin in NJ? *** Joe Matkowski *** ******************************************************************************* "Those willing to give up a little liberty for a little security deserve neither security nor liberty". ------ Benjamin Franklin ******************************************************************************* SCREW the disclaimer, my company doesn't even subscribe to this group!! :-<
