In Punjab, another candidate has been killed. This time Mr.Charanjit Singh, who is contesting from the Ludhiana ( Cant) assembly as an independent cand., was shot dead by unidentified gunmen. He was reported to be missing since Friday. In Andhra Pradesh, the Cong(I) MLA Mr.Sudhir Kumar who was kidnapped by the naxalites on Saturday was released this morning. He has since arrived in Hyderabad. Mr.Sudhir Kumar was released near Narsapur around 8:30am this morning. However, the fate of the deputy collector of Gadhwal Mr.Giridhar who also was kidnapped on Saturday is not known. In Maharashtra, Naxalites released the kidnapped Cong(I) MLA and his associates last night. They were abducted by naxalites on the 26th of last month. Narotham Reddy Source: Delhi A - Home services.
