Speaking to reporters at his official residence, +varsha+ here around midnight after his arrival from Delhi, Mr.Pawar said he had taken a final decision to +go to Delhi and join the union cabinet+. The Chief Minister said he received the invitation to join the union cabinet this morning and had told the Prime Minister, Mr P V Narasimha Rao, that he would return to Delhi in two or three days to take the oath. Mr Pawar said the next clp leader would be elected with asked whether he would join the union cabinet as number two, Mr Pawar replied, +i do not know. i will abide by whatever the party says+. Replying to another query, he asserted that the stability of the state government, which was in minority, would not be affected by his shifting to the national scene. About the sending of party's central observers to the clp meeting, Mr Pawar said a meeting of the congress parliamentary board would decide on it and inform him. answering a question, he said it was the practice in the party to send central observers to such meetings. Mr Pawar said he had not so far discussed the clp leadership issue with the mpcc-i president, Mr Shivajirao Patil-Nilangekar, as he had not met him. Bombay ====== Mr Pawar said he wanted more representation to be given to Maharashtra in the ministry and the state would get it. asked what should be the representation, he replied +enough+. To another question whether he would accept any party post, Mr Pawar said he would +accept whatever the party asks me to+. Replying to a query about the portfolio he would be allotted, he said it was the prerogative of the prime minister. Bombay Mr Pawar said he would get elected to the Lok Sabha and had not decided the constituency he should represent. Queried about the possibility of Mr Narasimha Rao seeking election from Maharashtra, he said the prime minister had not so far spoken to him on the subject. Mr Pawar reiterated that he was against the creation of the posts of deputy prime minister or deputy chief minister as he did not believe in two power centres.
