[rec.radio.amateur.packet] Cambridge Z88 - Help Needed

I have acquired a Cambridge Z88 (very cheap) and would like
to use it is a packet terminal. I need some advice:

1) Where can I get more information, programs, RAM, etc.
   here in the U.S.?

   2) How can this be used as a simple terminal for a modem
      or packet radio. I am having no luck with it terminal
      mode and would like to get in touch with someone who
      is using the unit in this manner.
