I'm trying to build a detector that will give me the light intensity of individual pixels (in 8bit grey-scale format). This is something similar to the products that Photometrics put out (only a bit cheaper). As a result, I'm looking for a list of manufacturers that make CCD arrays (256x256 preferably, but 128x128 would do for now). I'm *not* looking for a CCD camera, only the arrays. Cameras tend to do too much filtering, and conversions to video signals, not to mention the price of them. Any hints/suggestions for making this as painless as possible would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Roly.
