we have been loaned two 7300's by other units of Pitt. They want to make software backups before they send us the software, and they are having problems. Of the three formats -- 360K, 720K, and 1.2M -- which does the 7300 use? They can't get the copy disk option on the menu system to work. Is there some copy protect scheme? Or is there some other magic that needs to be done? john slimick university of pittsburgh at bradford slimick@unix.cis.pitt.edu

they have either 320K or 400K; this is like 360K, but with 8 or 10
sectors/track instead of 9.

this is for copying one floppy to another. is this really what you
want?
