Organization: Massachusetts Institute of Technology Keywords:panic trap Date: Fri, 15 Mar 91 00:33:33 GMT Lines: 11 Can anyone tell me exactly what a "panic trap" is and how to fix it? My PC has been plagued with them for a while now. It happens during some time in startup or in normal operation, interrupting whatever is happening, causing the machine to display the contents of all the registers and then prompt me to do a hardware reset.
