Howdy, I just started setting up an uucp link to an HP 9000 workstation, via modem. I used waffle (v1.63) as well as uupc(1.09c). both seemed to have the same problem. here is a log of what happened via debug. I was able to transfer mail files to maxwell, but I was unable to receive any from maxwell (the hp machine). HP-9000 runs on unix system V, and the error message on the unix end is: expecting H, got FAIL Seemed to me, local uucico is trying to send an H to remote unix machine, but remote unix machine is not recognizing it... If you have seen this type of problem before, would appreicate any suggestion on how to fix this problem...
