I've send a copy of the Device Driver Development guide to David Brierley (galaxia!dave) to be put on osu-cis. The posted version is nroff -mm format. Other formats *may* be available later. I've made many small changes in the interest of making this document more readable, but some pieces of information were just plain missing from the original, and I wasn't knowledgable enough to add these. Anyway, those of you who want to take a look at this, who didn't get one of Thad's copies, should be able to pick one up from osu-cis "Real Soon Now". Kris A. I uploaded the file to osu-cis late Saturday night. It is located in the att7300 directory and is called "DDDguide.mm.Z". One thing that Kris forgot to mention is that you need to use tbl to process the file. -- David H. One thing that Kris > forgot to mention is that you need to use tbl to process the file. I was testing this document by having a friend print it out on a nice printer using troff. Since I have very limited printing capabilities here, I've only printed out small sections using nroff anytime lately. Clued by a message from Michel Adam, I decided to check to see if the tables came out correctly with nroff, and guess what? Some are too long to fit on an 80-column page. This is an "expensive" (~66 pages nroff, ~43 troff) document to print, so I'd recommend to anybody who is limited to an 80-character width printer and nroff to wait until I have a chance to try to fix this, and we get the fixed version in the archives.
