The following are sums and ls-l's from my system: Sums: 37961 52 /bin/ld 7715 11 /lib/shlib.ifile 12641 1 /lib/crt0s.o ls-l: -rwxr-xr-x 1 bin bin 53248 Apr 25 22:38 /bin/ld -rw-r--r-- 1 bin bin 10372 Apr 3 19:53 /lib/shlib.ifile -rw-r--r-- 1 bin bin 520 Apr 3 19:51 /lib/crt0s.o These numbers don't seem to match what Kris Kugel and Don Nichols have told me for size & sum of /bin/ld, so it would appear I have a corrupted /bin/ld. Is it possible to just get a new /bin/ld off the distribution, or what? It's on the Foundation Set disks, isn't it? Or is it on the Development Set disks? Give me a clue, guys! And many, many, MANY thanks for all the help so far! ( I would be very lost without it!) -- + Gordon Zaft | zaft@suned1.nswses.navy.mil + + NSWSES, Code 4Y33 | suned1!zaft@elroy.jpl.nasa.gov + + Port Hueneme, CA 93043-5007 | Phone: (805) 982-0684 FAX: 982-8768 + ** ..et resurrexit tertia die secundum scripturas, et ascendit in coelum.. ***
