This group is currently active. As moderator, I am working on contacting companies and others to make announcements. It is going slow right now, since most of the marketing people are at CES in Las Vegas for the weekend. I should have a few companies on the list by Monday, however. So far, there have been several legitimate posts by the moderator, including administrative posts that explain, among other things, how to make submissions. In short, you should MAIL your submissions to announce@iris.eecs.ucdavis.edu. These administrative messages will be re-posted at the beginning of next month. If you have not received these posts, there is either something wrong with your site, or you simply didn't get the group set up in time. If you would like these posts, please either wait until February, or send e-mail to my personal mailbox (zerkle@iris.eecs.ucdavis.edu), and I will send the the information to you.
