The March meeting of the Jersey Amiga Users Group (JAUG) will take place on Friday March 22. This is the fourth Friday instead of the usual third Friday due to a conflict with the AmigaWorld Expo the 15-17th. The meeting will take place at the normal location - the Physics Auditorium at Rutgers University on Bush campus in Piscataway. The meeting begins at 7:30 P.M. and all are invited to attend. JAUG is one of the nations oldest Amiga user groups and is dedicated to providing Amiga users with a forum for problem solving and information on the latest advances in Amiga systems and related technology. JAUG is a not-for-profit organization and is not affiliated in any way with Rutgers University or Commodore-Amiga, Inc. All meetings are open to the public. This month will feature discussions on advances in video and audio compression and the direction of these multimedia technologies on the Amiga. Dr. Johanan L. Codona will present a demonstration of real-time spectral analysis of voice using the Active Circuits Bonsai 2000 DSP board. Bush campus is located off Rt 18 North. Take the NJ Turnpike to exit 9, rt 18 North. Cross over the Lynch memorial bridge and take the first left after the light onto Sutphen Rd. Take the next right (at Rutgers Stadium). Continue and bear left until you see the bus stop on the right - the Physics building is the circular building with the fluted roof immediately following the bus stop. Parking is available in the main Physics building parking lot at the next intersection. -- Eric Lavitsky UUCP: ...rutgers!tstream!eric Active Circuits, Inc. eric@remus.rutgers.edu 908-974-1616 BIX: eric -- Please see monthly postings for the disclaimer, the introduction, the charter, and submission instructions.
