          MicroCreations Announces Bar Code Scanner for the Amiga

    MicroCreations is happy to announce the release of the MicroScanner
 Model 232 Bar Code Reader, a powerful, compact unit capable of reading
 the most commonly used bar code symbologies in use today. It plugs into
 the serial port, and comes with software to interface it with Superbase,
 a database program from Precision Software. The MicroScanner Model 232
 is available with either a wand or a slot (badge) reader input device.

 o Reads high, medium, or low density bar codes (including dot matrix)

 o Audible "beep" indicates successful scan

 o Visual indication (LED) of successful scans

 o Low power CMOS technology

 o Switch selectable options :
     - selectable baud rates
     - enable/disable each individual bar code symbology
     - enable/disable audio "beep"
     - enable/disable CR or CR/LF as termination character
     - enable/disable check digit
     - enable/disable display of UPC-A "number system character"
     - enable/disable interal self-test and diagnostic routines
     - enable/disable UPC-E expansion

 o One year warrany on parts and labor

 o Designed, manufactured, and tested in the U.S.A.
