[comp.sys.amiga.announce] friendly module player "Experiment IV" available for ftp

espie@flamingo.Stanford.EDU (Marc Espie) (05/22/91)

I've finally finished to program the beast, so... here is:

		Experiment IV

Experiment IV is a soundtracker/noisetracker module player.
It attempts to address several concerns at once: it is small,
system-friendly, user-friendly, works on about any amiga,
whether PAL or NTSC, from the A500 to the A3000.

But its main goal is to enable you to listen to your favorite modules
while doing something else, or without interrupting your download.

It is public domain, comes with the source. Completely original code (I guess
this is the first player programmed in C ever).

It is right now on ab20.larc.nasa.gov in incoming/amiga/UTILS (anon. ftp).
It will probably get moved to amiga/music/utils. The archives names
are experimentiv.lzh and exp_src.lzh, and a small descriptive file
experimentiv.readme.

Send any bug reports/cookies to espie@flamingo.stanford.edu.
