I am trying to hook up a Toshiba XM3201A CD-ROM that I currently use on my macintosh, to my 386 compatible PC. I have an Always Tech, IN-2000 and the correct macintosh external cables, but the bus hangs when ever I start it up with the CD-ROM connected. I have 1 internal SCSI disk (MAXTOR) and it's ID is 0 I have attempted to make the CD-ROM id to 1. Has anyone done anything like this with the IN-2000? Always, I know you read this group, any suggestions? Is there a newer driver for the XM3201A? I have an older one that doesn't seem to work very well, anyway! I have NO problems hooking to the mac, and YES I terminated the other connector with the toshiba terminator. Thanks in advance. -- ewahl@magnus Edward A.
