[uw.gsa] Advisory Committee on Network News

[Followups to uw.grad]

I am the graduate students' representative on the newly formed Advisory
Committee on Network News. I am in the process of forming a policy from the
viewpoint of specfically, but not exclusively, grad students. I have, so far,
relied on the debate on local channels (including uw.general), personal
discussions and, of course, my own convictions. I would like to hear from
interested graduate students and others. Please feel to contact me by e-mail,
phone or in person.

I have also been toying with the idea of having some kind of an informal
group discussion at the grad house to discuss the issues involved. If
any of you are interested in such an excercise, let me know and if there
is sufficient interest, we can decide on a time.

Well Anil, how about you tell us how you feel about the admin's
decision last May and what your preliminary stance is on alt.sex.* ?
