Thanks to those who responded. I got many replies ranging from resounding "Yes! Go for it! You won't be disappointed" all the way down to comments indicating that the price I had listed was a rip-off. Some friends of mine not on the net also commented. Surprisingly (or maybe not), I didn't hear one single comment questioning the quality of Dan Wesson revolvers. Everyone seems to agree that they are indeed fine weapons. The big debate was over what I should offer for it. Well, the point is now moot. I bought it almost 2 weeks ago. The dealer didn't come down in the price much but was willing to throw in some freebies including a Boyt case and 2 boxes of ammo. I really like this gun a lot. The factory trigger feels like almost any other gun with a deluxe trigger job. After dialing in the sights, I was shooting nice tight groups in the black at 50 feet. It's gonna take some practice before I start knocking down targets at 200 yds. but I feel that this gun is capable of doing it in the right hands. It is also one of the slickest looking (IMHO) stainless revolvers I have ever seen. I'm happy with it. -- Kevin
