[rec.guns] Worst-Case Ammo?

I recall reading somewhere that if Silvertips will feed in 
an automatic, most any commercial load will. Does this
match your collective experiences?

What other loads might be good to test in my new Hi-Power?

I'd like to try Federal's  Full Metal Jacket Semi-Wadcutter 
(Federal load 9MP): has anyone had any experience with this
round? Accuracy? Feed problems?

If you need hollowpoints, and Silvertips won't feed, try the Remington.  They
may not expand because their jacket is formed to produce the same oglive of
a full-metal jacket round, and it itsn't serrated to make splitting it open
any easier, but a shovel is better than an ice pick.
