What is the net.consensus on the Beretta 21A, which uses the .22 LR round? [MODERATOR: Just the thing to have if you can't carry a real gun ...] I've been eyeing this baby for a short time and want to hear the pros and cons from any of you who have had any meaningful experience or exposure to this weapon. My local dealer is asking $199 new. Please e-mail replies and I'll post a summary here. Thanks in advance. -- Bill Berbenich School of EE DSP Lab Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta Georgia, 30332 uucp: ...!{decvax,hplabs,ncar,purdue,rutgers}!gatech!prism!eefacwb Internet: eefacwb@prism.gatech.edu [MODERATOR: Silliness aside, I have found that the smaller firearms are actually quite a bit more difficult to operate. For example, I once saw a tiny, cute .25 semi that had a grip safety on it. By the time I got it in my hand to feel comfortable, the safety was not depressed. To depress the safety, I had to contort the grip. Bleck. Still, I'd like one of the little Berettas just to satisfy my curiosity. Have to come after my wife get's her Win. 52 though...]

I had one as well as a friend of mine.....
It had losts of problems jamming and the trigger nedded losts of work.
The friend sent his back to Beretta to be fixed and it still had problems.
These we US made Berettas. I used to have a Beretta 9mm (92sbc) and it was
very high quality but the little .22's were not. I kept mine only 4 or 5
weeks before I sold it. This was about 4 years ago so they might have got
better.
