I'm thinking about getting started doing reloading. I was planning to buy the RCBS starter kit as advertised in the Midway catalog. (approx $130) Will this and a set of dies get me started? Would I be better off just buying individual components? If so, which components? I'll be getting dies to reload .45 Colt and .303 British. I'm getting into reloading cause those two calibers are not real common so its hard to find surplus/inexpensive ammo. Mostly to keep shooting costs down. I'd prefer to start basic and invest more if and when I get into it. I may also be loading blanks for the .45 Colt for living history demos (when the percusian cap pistol gets a little out of date). I'd rather not start a flame about which brand of reloading equip is better, just some reasurance I'm heading in the right direction. I'm also curious if these "starter kits" really are a good deal. If anyone has a frequently asked question list about reloading, that would be great too. thanks -- Dave Uebele uunet!sco!daveu or daveu@sco.com
