Well, I've been waiting about six months for my Illinois firearms card. It needn't take that long for my application to be processed, need it? That is ridiculous. The application form had procedure for applying for
one never received. At least try that. But that sure hints at they know
they might be losing them.
I'm hearing the timing is 4 to 8 weeks. Mine's been in for almost 2 weeks
so I have a while longer to wait.

#It took about that long for mine, the post office sent it to the wrong address
and when it came back to the state, they just let it sit there, without trying
to contact me. I'd suggest you call them and find out what is wrong. By law
its only supposed to take 30 days to process (not including mailing time).
