My new toy, .44 mag. Freedom Arms Casull w/ 10" barrel SA "5 shooter", is a BLAST! Excuse the terrible pun. I sighted it in at 25 yd. Saturday and found that I could plunk 10 within 2" with a sand bag rest on a semi-solid old picnic table. The Federal 240 JHP's were slightly more consistent than some PMC 240 JHP's. At this point, it is obvious that the gun is still far more accurate than the shooter. The recoil is very manageable with the very nice hardwood grips. No glove used or needed (experience of 100 rounds). Then, several of us shot some bowling pins at 25 ft. The long barrel allows one to shoot one-handed without much muzzle flip. The pins do exit the scene quickly when hit right. Saturday, I'm going to try some metal! A half range sil. shoot using standing position. I'll let you know if I hit anything from 100 m. It attracts attention when holstered too. BDW
