I'm looking for either Pachmeyer or Uncle Mike's grips for my Taurus. I've seen the Pachmeyers, and they look pretty nice. One piece is both sides and the frontstrap, the other piece is the backstrap. I haven't seen the Uncle Mike's, but they look like they're just the sides. Does anyone out there have the Uncle Mike's? Are they just the sides? If you checked out both brands, what made you perfer one over the other. The Taurus has vertical lines cut into the front and bachstraps, so the extra flaps on the Pachs may not be necessary. In fact, I've thought of cutting off the frontstrap portion of the Pachs, but using the backstrap piece, to keep the thickness down. I have medium sized hands, and though I don't have any problem with the Taurus right now, I'm worried about the grip thickness with the full Pachmeyers.
