I have some files that were created using a hardware video frame grabber called something like a MIC. This is on a ISA msdos machine. Can anyone suggest how I might view this file? I've tried HIJAAK, in hopes that MIC stores the file in some standard format with no luck. Any ideas welcome.

I suspect that the MIC which you are refering to is the Multimedia Interactive Control language which a number of video overlay boards use. This is produced by a UK company called VideoLogic, whose main product is a video in windows board called the DVA-4000/<ISA|MCA|Mac>. I believe that they are now, or shortly will be, shipping a version of the MIC software which includes a utility for converting to Targa format. I suggest you contact their US distribution arm: VideoLogic Inc 245 First Street, Suite 1403 Cambridge Massachusetts 02142 (617) 494 0530 cheers............ martin wink.....
