Here's an interesting item that I pulled off of CompuServe. It will be of interest to any schools with Apple IIGS's or any schools interested in the value of multimedia/interactive videodisc in education. #: 1273 S9/HyperStudio 13-Mar-91 23:10:46 Sb: #1266-#Hyper Studio Fm: Roger Wagner 71660,50 To: Michael Ewen 72060,2711 (X) Michael, Something you might also want to know about: Roger Wagner Publishing, Inc. now offers a "Multimedia Test Drive" (a.k.a. the "Workshop In A Box"). If you can find 10 teachers at your school who are interested in learning more about multimedia/hypermedia and how to get the most out of those Apple IIGS computers you've got, schedule a tentative date, and then call 1-800-421-6526, and ask for Della Smith, and information about the Test Drive. Basically, what we offer is to send out 10-20 complete copies of HyperStudio complete with hardware, a hand scanner, a Computer Eyes video digitizer, the Edmark TouchWindow, a laserdisc, and a 50-page workbook with various 15-45 minute activities on creating stacks, adding laserdisc video, digitizing images, hooking the GS up to a VCR, and more. There is no charge for the loan of this kit!
