I replied but it seems to be worth posting. MicroTek has just started advertising their new 600 dpi scanner and 1850 dpi slide scanner. The price in MacWeek was 1499 for the scanner and $2100 for the slide scanner. Both included Photoshop full edition. Seems like the best value I have seen. tj
