Well I've just seen a few rather uninformative machine XXX vs YYY discussions and my posting is not meant to continue this line ....but could those who have made some comparisons please tell me in unemotive terms what they know about the relative strengths and weaknesses of various platforms/add on boards? Indications of approx cost and capabilities and general statements of satisfaction/dissatisfaction with equipment XXX without comparisons would also be welcome.
