[comp.lang.vhdl] ivan for VHDL

Hi, I have a question on IVAN which is the intermediate
form of VHDL like DIANA for Ada.

Is there actually Ivan anywhere around in the world?
Do they use it to make a VHDL compiler?
Is it written in IDL or are there any ivan written
in IDL?

I tried to find out if there is any and I've got
Dr. Snodgraph's book and one paper which mentions ivan
but no reference there.
Are there any references of ivan?
Or, is it confidential?

I'm trying to write a VHDL compiler.
