Has anyone checked out the video digitizer in the premiere issue of
AC's Tech Amiga (Amazing Computings new magazine)?

It's a 640x400 256 grey scale device for $80.00 with software.

The theory of operation makes it sound similar to DigiView in operation
(ie slow scan method, not a frame grabber).

How does this device compare to DigiView?

Speaking of which, what do you think of that magazine? I was VERY interested
when I heard about it, but was quite put off when I saw the price (sheesh!).

(It's especially annoying when the dear departed Amiga Transactor did such a
great job at such a reasonable cost (or is this why they went out of business?)
Even so, you'd think that the revenue from AmigaWorld could support a
reasonably-priced tech journal... even WITH disks).

I like the magazine, even if it's not the transactor :-(

Iagreee that it is expensive. I wish they would offer it without the
disk for a resonable price.
