Please pardon the P's in this post :-) I have a copy of Post1.3 from new-xanth (abc...???) and really like it a lot. I have two queries about how it works which I could not find answered in the docs. 1) When I run: post s:init.ps file.ps SCREEN and then deselect screen and select printer I get the correct horizontal and vertical dpi for the print density from `Preferences,' but the total height and width in pixels do not come out to 8.5" and 11". When I click on the density number again the number of pixels change to the correct values! When I run: post s:init.ps file.ps PRINTER it says something like, "page size not specified in preferences." I did specify my page size in `Preferences!' I specified 8.5" and 11", and have tried both `absolute' and `bounded.' If post can figure out the correct dpi for my printer at the chosen density why can't it figure out the correct number of pixels? BTW, when I specify the number of pixels in `Prefeneces' Post no longer complains, but, unfortunately, uses the same number of pixels regardless of the printer density! What's going on here? 2) Can you get the screen version of Post1.3 to use more than 3 intensities per color? I know you have a limited pallet, but it may be nice to have a few more colors, or be able to chose how to arrange the pallet. For example, let's say I only care about 1 blue, but want 5 intensities of red. ADVthanksANCE, /* I wish I knew who I stole this from */ Randy
