As we all know, the Amiga offers many types of resolution. I've been wondering how many pixels a screen can have. Can there be more pixels in x-cordninate than in overscan? I think I had a picture with 800 pixels in the x-cordinate. Overscan in HIRES is 752, right? It was a GIF-picture translated to HAM, INTERLACE, and HIRES that was 800*600 pixels. To view this picture I used the program view, that will give the possibility to scroll around the picture if it's to big for the screen. In this case I could only scroll up and down, but not sideways. To see the whole picture I had too scroll the screen with help of the pins on the backside of the monitor (A1084). The limitation for the y-cordinate seems to be 564 in interlace mode.
