Hey guys, while looking through my old magazines for the Amiga I saw a couple of issues of Ami Transactor (rember that one?) that had articles on 3D object construction. These articles were written by Eric Grahm and his wife(?). One delt with generating fractal tree-like object for Sculpt. I was wondering if anyone had created some PD program that does somthing similar. Not having a C compiler I can't really generate the object code myself. So can some kind soul out there send it to me or tell me an FTP site where I can get it? Thanks.... James COLYER@silver.ucs.indiana.edu

The only program I've seen that creates fractal trees is 3D Professional.. I believe that's a $350 program..it was interesting..being able to control the about of "branchiness" a tree had and what all..I saw this at a dealer but never bought it as I own Imagine, Sculpt 4D, and a others too many to list..I have never seen nor heard of a public domain program that creates fractal trees in Video Scape, Sculpt, Silver format (any of which would work fine for the others thanks to Interchange)..I have seen a public domain program that create 2D drawings of fractal trees..I believe this is in the Fred Fish collection..if anyone *has* heard of such a program it would be interesting to know where to locate such. -Mike
