I play my TurboSilver animations on DCTV. I can do so by: - converting each Turbo's RGB8 file into DCTV display format - assemble them into an anim file using the AnimBuild (PD) program - play the anim file by either showanim or animplay programs It works beautifully. An animation of a serfboard sailing over waves looks sooo real on DCTV, especially, the waves! (waves are created with the Terrain program). Anyway, here is a question. How do you do the same with overscan images? Turbo can generate and play overscan animations. I did the same as above. When I played the overscan anim, it looks like a TV with no antena. Each overscan image is converted to DCTV just fine. I guess it is either animbuild program couldn't produce overscan anim correctly, or showanim (or animplay) couldn't play overscan anim files. Please let me know what went wrong and how to make it work, and if I need different anim builder or player, please also tell me where I might find them. Thanks in advance.

I haven't used animbuild..but I have succesfully strung together DCTV format overscan hi res images into an animation using MAKEANIM another public domain program. Results are likewise gorgeous. *Lots* of colors and looks great outputting to video tape. -Mike
