[comp.sys.amiga.graphics] Animation, Editing VCR

I am looking for a single-frame editing S-VHS recorder with TBC and
2 channel audio. I don't want a controller, though. Anyone have any leads?
This would be so I can animate sequences spit out by my amiga.
Any comments are welcome.

I would be looking for new/used machines with prices under 4000.
thanks.

Thats a very low target price for what you are asking but a couple possible
solutions come to mind. The Panasonic AG7750 is an S-VHS editting recorder
with TBC and 2 channel audio + HiFi. It retails for $6500 but I believe
some mail order houses sell it for under $5K. There is also a new unit
from JVC that doesn't have a TBC but has builtin support for computer driven
animation/single framing. It is the BRS605U and lists for about $2200.
With the money left over, you could buy a DPS personal TBC for $850 that
will plug into the Amiga or get a standalone unit like those frome Showline
for around $2K.
