Hi, Can I view IBM's GIF format files o the Amiga? If so, how? Can I just load the files from an IBM formatted disk, and then convert them into IFF? Please explain this to me. Also, what kinds of software do I need to do this? Thanks. -Nik. -- afgafhabvnzerwthjwnmberthgjhjnhjknyprtewjhgjklnbaeurgepwrwytiwhjs fjdkshgjetuwyut THISisMYsignatureFILE!soWHAT? wehudgfhjhdfghjhdgl ruetowyuiwehgjdfksgbnvcjkblhjgphuipuhgjlhjbhjdfhgyuetrhghfgdhwqvc nnn@po.CWRU.Edu rteuwthjhjdghbnvmcweqtqpjghdj niknorrosdinikmahdi

RE: IBM's GIF format.... Correction #1, its an Compuserve format and even the C64 can display certain GIF pictures from what I have heard, and giffy or giffy2 can display the GIF by converting it to a 16 color picture(Giffy) or to a HAM(Giffy2)..Giffy2 also is called HamGif by certain people... There are also other programs such as virtgif, shamsharp, hamsharp, etc, that are avaiable on many public bulletin boards(along with giffy2), Compuserve also has these files online...probably can FTP it from somewhere as well..
