I have been using DKBtrace 2.00 on a A2500/20 with an 68882 fitted, but have had many system crashes when using trace881 on some of the sample files. The errors include un-implemented OPcodes etc. The non CO-PRO version (traceffp) works fine. Some of the sample images I have problems with are lenses.data and WaterBow.data. These will crash in the first few lines (ie lenses.data) or after a third of the display (ie WaterBow.data). I recently down loaded DKB version 2.11 which seem to have the same problems with the floating point code (DKB881). Unfortunately I couldn't test the effectiveness of DKBieee as it was decompressed with CRC errors. The new problem I have encounted with DKB881, is the errors due to file structure changes related to how parmeters such as AMBIENT and DIFFUSE are defined. This works under DKB 2.00 but not under 2.11. 2.11 returns an error something like AMBIENT found when END_OBJECT was expected. OBJECT (object structure) AMBIENT 0.2 DIFFUSE 0.8 END_OBJECT If AMBIENT and DIFFUSE parameters are placed within the TEXTURE structure the parser excepts the file, but the object will turn out black.
