I have heard that Rick Rodriguez is doing an update to the Imagine manuals, bringing all the latest features in, and filling a few gaps. In the mean time, and in any case, The Imagine Companion has some good tutorial material to help out. One thing I don't understand about this publication is its lack of an index. It includes the index I put together for the Imagine Reference Manual, but not one for The Imagine Companion itself..? A good book just the same though. I've heard that the latest release of Imagine is 1.1, I've also heard that the manuals and tutorials for this program are pretty..well..average. Will there be an upgrade to the manuals etc.. for 1.2 or should I buy "The Imagine Companion" at the same time as Imagine? If I'm spending $AU600, I may as well spend another $AU50 for TIC. It also includes file formats, such as Turbo Silver RGB, etc. Last of all, a list of Amiga FTP sites. If there is anything else that should be included, please contact me. Please understand that this is not being mass produced yet, and will be in limited quantities. This started out as a way for me to pay back my friends, and there were a few extras. Second, not everybody has a nice laser printer like mine. :) Current price is from $15 to $20, depending on shipping costs. It will not be more that $20.
