I recently purchased a genlock device (MiniGen), and would like to use animation programs with it. I am using MovieSetter, and my problem is that I think it is impossible to make a cell containing color 0. Color 0, in a cell, becomes transparent and displays the background (or cell behind it). That means the only place my input video can be displayed is on the background. In Anim format can you make a cell in color 0? Is there any animation programs that will let me do this? One of the effects I wish to do is a spotlight effect--a black background, then color 0 circles floating around displaying the VCR input in just those circles. Any help or Suggestions will be useful. If any one has neat Genlock effects, I would appreciate it if you told me how you did them.
