I want to buy a film recorder for my Amiga to record both graphics and full color images (say off a Toaster or similar device). Does anyone have any experience they wish to share? What are your thoughts of analog versus digital? (For those new to film recorders, analog ones take the analog signal going to the monitor and use it to drive an internal display. What you see is what you get. Digital recorders connect to a digital port (serial, parallel, or scsi) and download digital data to the recorder. Generally speaking, digital recorders are slow because they must create high resolution bitmaps of the image and transmit these bitmaps. You can get very good looking images, but you are also at the mercy of your software.) Thanks, Charlie <boncelet@udel.edu>
