[comp.sys.amiga.graphics] Converting GEM .IMG files to IFF

Does anyone out there have or know of a utility that will convert files
in the Digital Research GEM .IMG format into IFF?  GEM is the OS of the
Atari ST and of DOS programs like Ventura Publisher.  I have some clip-art
from these systems which I would like to convert.

I have done the conversion with the utilities in the PBM-Plus library:

gemtopbm fred.img | ppmtoilbm >fred.iff
