I'll be getting my A3000 RSN ;-) and rumor has it that there's an upgrade for digipaint 3 for the A3000. Can someone let on what the features are? Or is this a case where digipaint 3 (a program I'm not really crazy about) simply won't work on a 3000? Inquiring minds.... -- ---//---------------------------------------------------------------------- \X/ echadez@isis.cs.du.edu Edward Chadez Amiga----------------------------------------------------------------------

I wasn't aware that there was a problem with digipaint 3 running on the 3000. At least, I haven't noticed anything when I run it with mine. >Inquiring minds.... >-- >---//---------------------------------------------------------------------- > \X/ echadez@isis.cs.du.edu Edward Chadez >Amiga---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tal Lancaster

At least, I haven't noticed anything when I run it with mine. That's pretty much what others have written to me and said. "The old version works fine" on their A3000s. (Contrary to my .sig, I haven't received my 3000 yet...<moan><groan>). But the question still stands: what's the deal with an upgrade for digipaint III? Sure, it's only ten bucks...but what do ya get? Is it written in 68030 assembly? (I believe the original was in 68000 assembly.) I'll probably upgrade (even if it is just rewritten for a 68030), but would like to know more.... > >Tal Lancaster -- ---//---------------------------------------------------------------------- \X/ echadez@isis.cs.du.edu Edward Chadez Amiga3000 Denver: city with an altitude ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
