To Antonello Biancalana, ProMIND, in Italy: We have just finished the design of a 16 bit audio card which would complement your software very well. Our card design is similar to but more comprehensive in scope than digidesign's Sound Accelerator and Audiomedia cards. It will be manufactured and marketed by SunRize Industries. We would be happy to answer any questions you might have about what we have to offer. I have attempted to send you email, but it bounces. Don Kennedy Audio Specialist Vision Quest Systems

RE . THE 16 SOUND CARD FOR THE AMIGA WILL IT ACCEPT A DIRECT DIGITAL INPUT FROM A CD PLAYER?
kcampbel@uafhp.uark.edu (Keith Alan Campbell) (02/03/91)
The answer to the question "Will the card accept direct digital inputs from CD players?" is a qualified YES. It would be nearly impossible to guarantee that every variation on the "standard" inputs will be available immediately on release of the card to market; the implementation we will have is the most extensive currently available on ANY platform. There should be custom cables available for most interconnections, both analog and optical. Note that the ability to support only two of the four major formats costs an additional $995 retail to Mac and Atari Sound Accelerator and Audiomedia users, while we will have all four supported directly onboard at no additional cost. Our card, with 2 channel 16 bit analog inputs and outputs, DSP, record-to-disk capabilities, digital inputs and outputs, MIDI ins/outs, and SMPTE in will cost approx. $1500-2000 US. It will include bundled software by SunRize Industries. Don Kennedy Audio Specialist Vision Quest Systems email to kcampbel@uafhp.uark.edu
