I'm looking for recommendations as to which software/hardware would be good for a Midi beginner to start doing video soundtracks. The videos will be used for instructional work in colleges so does not need super-dupereverythinguyoueverimagined gear. The people doing the soundtrack are semi-good musicians with little Midi experience. Please reply via e-mail as I do not read this group regularly.
