Are all of the *trackers out there using the same interface as Protracker and StarTrekker? I guess that would make sense since these programs are alterations/enhancements of Soundtracker. If so, I'll stick with MED since both StarTrekker and Protracker use a PAL screen on my NTSC Amiga. There are those of you who blame this on the USA's use of NTSC (why couldn't those bloody Americans use PAL?), but you're ignoring the facts. The facts are that there are two standards and two types of Amigas to match and any program that wants to be used by me must support my NTSC Amiga's screen size. MED supports NTSC, and it has a well organized interface as well. So far the other Trackers I've seen do not support NTSC and there is too much on one screen. I like the way MED has ten submenus so you can concentrate on a particular type of program function. As far as appearances-- MED doesn't have fully 3D gadgets and MED combines tiny text (on gadgets) with lo-res BIG text for file requestors and such. But we're making music here; it's audio art, not visual. | Baird McIntosh | c503719@umcvmb.missouri.edu <-or-> c503719@umcvmb.bitnet | | "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few." | | "Let's go!"
